Dolan José

wurde auf den Philippinen geboren und wuchs in Vancouver/ Kanada auf. Seine künstlerische Ausbildung in Tanz, Gesang und Schauspiel erhielt er als Stipendiat am kalifornischen EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood.

Dolan stand als Mitglied der kanadischen Originalbesetzung des Musicals "Miss Saigon" auf der Bühne. Daneben übernahm er die Hauptrolle des Tyronne Jackson in "Fame! The musical". Weitere kanadische Produktionen wie "Hello! Dolly" und "Pirates of Penzencence" folgten.

Für das erfolgreichste Musical der Welt, "Starlight Express", wurde Dolan nach Deutschland geholt. Er zeichnete sich für die Hauptrollen "Rusty", "Electra" und "Caboose" verantwortlich. Gleichzeitig übernahm er als Dance Captain die choreographische Verantwortung für die Show.

Mit seiner Band "Power House" tourte er durch Kanada und Amerika und produzierte als Co-Autor mehrere Singles. Für Salt´n´Pepa tanzte er in dem Film "Stay Tuned" sowie dem Videoclip "Start me up". Er tanzte für Frankee "F**k you right back", in dem Musikvideo "Drama Queen" des Ex-"No Angels" Vanessa sowie dem Video "Save your kisses" der dritten Single von Natasha Thomas. Promotionsauftritte folgten bei Top of the Pops, Viva Interaktiv, der McChart Show, THE DOME in Kiel, der ARD Show "Immer wieder Sonntags" und dem ZDF Fernsehgarten in Mainz.

Dolan choreographierte für das kanadische Fernsehen CBC und CTV.In seiner neuen Wahlheimat Berlin gab Dolan sein Regiedebüt beim Jahreskonzert des Männerchors "Männer Minne", bei dem er auch die Choreographie übernahm.

Seitdem zeichnete der junge Choreograph für viele weitere Produktionen verantwortlich. So übernahm er die choreographische Leitung für das Video des aktuellen Otto-Waalkes-Films "Sieben Zwerge", die Bühnenperformance für "Diesel Italy" sowie für die komplette Catwalk-Show des Modelabels "Mister & Lady Jeans".

Außerdem übernahm er Choreographie und Regie bei Shows für Fruit of the Loom und Catwork 2005 "The Time Machine".Für RTL choreographierte Dolan die ABBA-Mania Show fü Künstlern wie Belinda Carlisle, Kate Hall, Ex-NoAngel Lucy, Mariella Ahrens und Michelle Hunziker. Die Gold-Künstlerin Joana Zimmer wird von Dolan gecoacht und ihre gesammte Bühnenshow von ihm gestaltet.

Dolan choreographed for the CBC and CTV in Canada, and was a member of the original cast of the musical, "Miss Saigon". He has also played the role of Tyronne Jackson in "Fame! The musical". Other musicals include "Hello! Dolly" and "Pirates of Penzencence". Not only did Dolan played the roles of "Rusty", "Electra", and "Caboose" in the most successful musical in the world - "Starlight Express" - He was Responsible for the show choreographically as Dance Captain.
He also sang in many Company Galas for companies such as Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Hannover Finanz, and Sparda Bank. After moving to Berlin, Dolan made is Directing debut for "Männer Minne" Concert 2003 where he was also responsible for the entire choreography. He has continued directing and choreographing for productions such as: The stage performance for the current Otto Waalkes film, "Sieben Zwerge", Diesel Italy, the complete catwalk shows for "Mister & Lady Jeans, Fruit of the Loom, RTL's Abba Mania and was responsible for the entire artistic team for CATWORK 2005 "The Time Machine".

Dolan is currently Joana Zimmer's personal Choreographer and Coach, and has also worked with her on her newest video "Bringing down the Moon".
